Room 140 in Ketter Hall
Telepresence and Seminar Room

Room 140 in Ketter Hall is equipped with the latest multimedia and collaborative technologies.  Normal conference room activities are supported such as PowerPoint presentations and viewing video clips in either DVD or VHS format. A visualizer is available for display of printed material or pictures on opaque paper or transparencies. A podium located in front of the room is equipped with an integrated desktop computer, LCD monitor, and video, audio, network (live internet and intranet), and power connections for a notebook computer. A ceiling mounted LCD monitor, directed at the podium, can be used as a feedback monitor by the presenter. The room has three ceiling mounted digital projectors and three projection screens located in the front of the room providing multiple views of the same content, or different views of content from the above equipment on each screen.

Great Lakes Program

UB's Great Lakes Program develops, evaluates, and synthesizes scientific and technical knowledge of the Great Lakes ecosystem. GLP researchers are working on the development and application of mathematical models to support understanding of a variety of Great Lakes basin issues.
