    Program Flyer

The Bridge Engineering Program at UB was established by George Lee, SUNY Distinguished Professor, to address a need for succession planning that has been expressed by AASHTO’s Subcommittee on Bridges and Structures, a group that consists of the primary bridge engineer in each state.  A Masters Degree in bridge engineering is for students who want to become leaders in the field of bridge engineering by learning first-hand from practicing structural engineers who specialize in the design, construction, and preservation of our nation’s bridges.  Fundamental technical courses are supplemented by professional development and project components of the program that allow students to interact with these national and local leaders.
