Earthquake Engineering

The goal of research in earthquake engineering is to enhance the seismic resiliency of communities through improved engineering and management tools for critical infrastructure systems.

HIGHLIGHT

New Earthquake Facility

With a $20 million investment in new facilities, CSEE's Structural Engineering and Earthquake Simulation Laboratory will be a key node in the NSF's George E. Brown Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation, a national earthquake engineering collaboratory.
